ADULT DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM
Students have the opportunity to achieve their career and/or educational goals while working towards their GED/High School Diploma. Enroll and register in 11 tuition-free units each semester with the Adult Education Dual Enrollment Program.
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be currently enrolled & working towards a GED/High School diploma through one of our Adult School Parnters:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- No residency requirement.
STEP 1 - MEET WITH YOUR ADULT SCHOOL COUNSELOR
- Schedule a meeting with your adult school counselor.

- Your adult school counselor will contact the college you are interested in & will help you fill out the application.
- Please note, there might be instances where the college can assist with the CCC Apply process as well.
- After submitting your CCC application to your preferred college, a “Welcome” email from the college will be sent to you.
- This means your enrollment application was submitted & processed.
STEP 2 – CONTACT YOUR COLLEGE & ADULT K-12 SUPPLEMENTAL FORM
- Once you have your student credentials, please contact the college to set an appointment with their counselor to create a Student Educational Plan (SEP).
- Your college counselor will send you the "Adult K-12 Supplemental Form” to fill out.
- Submit the form and inform your college counselor of your submission.
- Form will get routed for eligibility to the Adult School principal, college counselor, & the college dual enrollment department.
STEP 3 – ENROLLMENT
- Once your "Adult K-12 Supplemental Form” has been approved, you will receive an email from the Dual Enrollment department saying your classes have been approved & ready for enrollment.
- Visit your college to get enrolled in your classes!
REQUIREMENTS TO REMAIN IN THE PROGRAM:
- Complete Adult Education Dual Enrollment form every semester to qualify.
- Meet with our Adult Education Counselor every semester.
- Must be actively enrolled in the GED or High School Program at one of our partnering Adult Schools.

United Domestic Workers (UDW)
The UDW Resource Center, dedicate themselves to helping home care and family child care workers and their families access the education and support they need. Through UDW’s partnership with the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, URC connects IHSS providers and family child care providers around the state to free and low-cost community college classes along with a range of support services including career counseling, civic engagement, case management, and more.
