Ashley Milam, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor
Biology

Education

B.S., Biological Engineering, University of Missouri-Columbia
Ph.D., Immunobiology, Yale University

Research Interests

Milam's research interests are in the area cellular/molecular immunology and autoimmunity, with a focus on the link between affinity for self-antigen, cellular metabolism, and the primary and memory responses of CD4+ T cells. She has studied the role of CD4+ T cells in several disease models, including type 1 diabetes, colitis, EAE/multiple sclerosis, and bacterial infections.
