Practice Areas
Before becoming a mathematician, I was trained as a lab technician with a specialty in Botany. My degree was obtained in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in 1982. After spending several years cloning orchids, I returned to academia and obtained my Ph.D in 1998 under the direction of Dr. Darren Long. My thesis was titled: Some Results Concerning Surface Groups in Surgered Manifolds.
