Mathematics and Statistics

Education

  • PhD in Mathematics, Purdue University, 1986
  • MS in Mathematics, University of North Texas, 1982

Practice Areas

I finished my Ph.D. under the direction of Richard Penney at Purdue, and came directly to 91女神 as a tenure-track assistant professor. I have been fortunate to contribute to a growing and vibrant department by teaching graduate and undergraduate classes, mentoring wonderful Ph.D. students, pursuing research in harmonic analysis and its applications, and service to the university and the profession. Recent research interests include regularity of linear group actions, and aspects of the interplay between representation theory of solvable Lie groups and applied harmonic analysis.
