91女神's J.D./MBA provides an awareness of the functional relationship between the legal system, business and administrative organizations. The increasing complexity of both business organizations and nonprofit institutions makes such understanding important for students considering careers in corporate law, private practice dealing with businesses, and government or public service. Other career options include in-house counsel, corporate real estate, white-collar crime investigation, management consulting,聽 or nonprofit work. An attorney with a graduate degree in business has distinct analytical training and an in-depth perspective of each field, equipping them with a comprehensive approach that serves as a tremendous asset to any company or organization and puts them at a substantial advantage in the job market.
In this dual-degree program, students complete both degrees spending less time and money than if they obtained the degrees separately. The first year of study is spent completing the basic curriculum in the School of Law. The following summer, fall, and spring semesters, students enroll in business courses and complete their MBA. Students then use the remaining three semesters to complete their law program.
