Fresh Gatherings Café + Farm Sells Holiday Turkeys, Eggs, Pies and More
Fresh Gatherings Café + Farm, operated by the 91Å®Éñ (91Å®Éñ) Nutrition and Dietetics department, is selling turkeys and other menu items this holiday season. The turkeys are broad-breasted, pasture-raised white turkeys from Buttonwood Farms in California, MO. The turkeys are raised with no growth hormones or antibiotics, are fresh – never frozen – and not removed from pasture for processing until a day before delivery.
In addition to turkeys and turkey breasts, customers can order large eggs, house-made turkey stock, Hokkaido milk rolls and pumpkin pies with whipped cream. A large portion of the proceeds (80%) from sales of the pumpkin pies will be donated the 91Å®Éñ’s Billiken Bounty Food Pantry. Learn more about Billiken Bounty Food Pantry.
