Opportunities for Engagement

There are many ways for companies and private foundations to engage with the 91Å®Éñ community. Whether you’re looking for long-term research partnerships, educational opportunities for your staff, advice from our faculty or the chance to engage with today’s young scholars, 91Å®Éñ's Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations staff is happy to work with you to discover existing or create customized strategic opportunities that support your organization’s goals.

Recruitment

Get in front of the next generation of leaders, innovators and employees via on-campus career fairs, internship placement services and targeted recruitment events.

Strategic Philanthropy and Sponsorship

Showcase your organization’s commitment to education and the St. Louis community via philanthropic efforts, such as naming opportunities; named fellowships, scholarships and professorships; capital investments; and serving as a sponsor for programs and events on campus. Additionally, corporate partners may highlight their areas of expertise through in-kind gifts of talent and goods, such as promotional media, equipment or technology, and consulting and other services.

Sponsored Research

Our staff works closely with 91Å®Éñ’s Office of Research Development and services to facilitate industry-sponsored research and contract agreements, including individual research collaborations, philanthropic research, disseminating requests for proposals, and long-term research agreement alliances.

Intellectual Property Licensing and Technology Transfer

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations works directly with 91Å®Éñ’s Office of the Vice President for Research to bring discoveries to the marketplace. 

On-Campus Speaking Engagements

Interacting with professionals is a valuable learning experience for our students. The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations can help arrange speaking opportunities at a variety of schools and departments on campus.

Professional Development

With access to 91Å®Éñ's diverse academic programs, our staff can organize customized professional development opportunities for your employees, including certificate programs, onsite workshops and continuing education credits.

Faculty Expertise and Consulting

Many of our esteemed faculty members are available for consulting and collaborations. Our office will connect you with 91Å®Éñ’s experts in your area of business. 

Corporate Connections Program

Provide a chance for the 91Å®Éñ alumni on your staff to network with colleagues and University faculty and staff by bringing 91Å®Éñ to you. The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations will assist in hosting a convenient reception at your workplace.
