Fall Welcome for Transfer Students

Fall Welcome at 91Å®Éñ isn’t just for incoming freshman students. Multiple programs during Fall Welcome are designed specifically for transfer students to meet one another and to learn about 91Å®Éñ. You can look forward to meeting your transfer mentors,  finding your footing through the transfer student orientation, and enjoying the transfer student "cook in," as you start to find your place at 91Å®Éñ.

How do I register for classes?

The best way to register for classes is to attend one the 91Å®Éñ 101 Transfer sessions. If you are unable to attend a 91Å®Éñ 101 session, contact your admissions counselor.

Do I have to live on campus?

Most first- and second-year students at 91Å®Éñ are required to live on campus, including transfer students. The time you've spent attending another university is considered when determining if you fall under the residency requirement. Learn more about housing options at 91Å®Éñ.

I want to study abroad. When is the best time to go and who should I talk to?
Students at 91Å®Éñ typically study abroad their sophomore or junior year. Transfer students must spend at least one semester at the St. Louis campus before applying to go abroad. Talk to your academic adviser and mentor to determine which semester is best and what courses to take abroad.
How do I get involved on campus?

First, attend the 91Å®Éñ Involvement Fair during Fall Welcome. Many student organizations and campus departments will be on hand to help you get involved and find your niche on campus. You can also explore student organizations through , and connect with the community through the Department of Campus Ministry and the Center for Social Justice.

Where can I find community service opportunities?

There are many opportunities to provide community service through 91Å®Éñ, inside and out of the city of St. Louis. Visit Campus Ministry and the Center for Social Justice to see the latest opportunities.
