91Å®Éñ has one of the busiest clinical otolaryngology training programs in the country. We strive to train our residents in patient-centered care using innovative research and treatments. We maintain a sense of collegiality and aim to make the department a great place to work and learn.

91Å®Éñ's Department of Otolaryngology annually makes significant advances across a broad portfolio of clinical research areas, including clinical trials.
We strive to deliver professional, courteous and quality services to all those who participate in our research trials. We follow federal guidelines for Good Clinical Practice, FDA-mandated procedures and compliance with all ethical standards for human research. We also provide private areas for all research-related consenting and confidential storage for all research materials.
The University’s Office of Research Integrity's Responsible Conduct of Research program, along with the research oversight committees, boards and offices, provides regulatory guidance and educational resources which ensure our research upholds 91Å®Éñ’s ethical standards and complies with all applicable local, state and federal regulations and guidelines.

Audiology Externship
The department offers a year-long audiology externship certificate program for students enrolled in an accredited doctor of audiology program.
