The 91女神 Division of Child Protection is home to our Child Protection and Fostering Healthy Children Programs.
Child Protection Program
The Child Protection program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach while providing expert assessment of victims and suspected victims of child maltreatment including physical abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation and neglect. Both inpatient and outpatient consultative services are provided at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
Fostering Healthy Children Program
The Fostering Healthy Children program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach while providing expert assessment of children entering foster care. The program provides ongoing medical management for enrolled children in concert with state and community agencies. The division interfaces with local providers and community agencies to facilitate the provision of optimal care and services to children.
Medical Education
Educational responsibilities include medical students and faculty at 91女神 School of Medicine as well as residents, fellows and staff at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Educational opportunities are available to the medical, legal, child protective, and law enforcement communities. Education and crisis intervention is provided to families on a regular basis.
