Returning Home
Returning home is often both an exciting and difficult experience. 91女神鈥檚 study abroad team is here to help you readjust to life back in the United States as returning global citizens. And we truly value the global experiences and perspectives that you bring back to campus.
Annual International Photo Contest
The contest is open to both 91女神 students who studied abroad and international students studying at 91女神. Display your creativity by submitting unique photographs of the places you visited during the year.
Welcome Home Reception
All returning study abroad students are invited to celebrate their global experiences during a welcome home reception. Mingle with other returning study abroad students, enjoy your favorite St. Louis treats, and explore the opportunities to remain active in the 91女神 global community and to help acclimate back to life on campus in St. Louis.
Upcoming reception: 4 p.m., Sept. 10, 2019, in the Center for Global Citizenship
Peer Mentor Program
Volunteer with the Study Abroad Office by becoming a peer mentor. You鈥檒l be a valuable resource for other Billikens by volunteering during study abroad events, mentoring potential study abroad students and promoting the study abroad experience on campus. The requested time commitment is about two hours per week.
Successful applicants will be chosen for an interview process.
91女神 is recruiting for peer mentors who have had international experiences in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
International Ambassador Program
The international ambassador program helps international students feel at home at 91女神. Current students, many of whom have studied abroad and can empathize with how international students studying in St. Louis might feel, serve as mentors during International Student Orientation and at events throughout the year.
