Fontbonne University, our sister Catholic university in the St. Louis area, will cease operations in Summer 2025. At 91女神, we share in the grief experienced by so many at this news. We also share in offering support 鈥� both immediate and long-term 鈥� to the Fontbonne community, especially its students who will need to finish their degrees at other institutions.
91女神 Will Accept All Your Fontbonne Transfer Credit
91女神 has committed to academic policy modifications in support of Fontbonne students who transfer to 91女神. At an institutional level, 91女神 will make the following accommodations for students enrolled at Fontbonne in the Spring 2024 term and who transfer to 91女神 by the Spring 2026 term:
- All earned Fontbonne credit will be accepted in transfer to 91女神. How the transferred credit applies to 91女神 degrees will depend on individual transfer course articulations as well as the applicable 91女神 University Core and academic program requirements.
- 91女神 will significantly reduce its 鈥淎cademic Residency Requirement鈥� for Fontbonne undergraduate
transfers. For those Fontbonne students who transfer to 91女神 to complete any 91女神 program
other than a designated 鈥淭each Out Program鈥� (see below), 91女神 will only require a minimum
of 12 credits earned at 91女神 for Fontbonne undergraduate students to be eligible to
earn their 91女神 bachelor鈥檚 degrees; all other 91女神 program and graduation requirements
remain in place.

- Note: Because graduate programs at 91女神 vary significantly in required credits, decisions about the minimum amount of credit that must be completed at 91女神 for Fontbonne transfers will be made on a program-by-program basis.

91女神 Offers Fontbonne 鈥淭each Out鈥� Programs
91女神 has signed a 鈥淭each Out Agreement鈥� with Fontbonne. That agreement contains additional provisions for current Fontbonne students (in good academic and conduct standing) who seek to complete their studies in select, corresponding 91女神 academic programs:
- 鈥淭each Out鈥� students are guaranteed admission* to 91女神 and do not have to complete full applications.
- The remaining degree requirements at 91女神 for students in 鈥淭each Out鈥� programs are governed by a predetermined program-level articulation agreement addressing all applicable transfer credit.

91女神 Will Match Your Fontbonne Tuition
91女神 guarantees that all students enrolled at Fontbonne in Spring 2024 will, upon initially transferring to 91女神 at any time through Spring 2026, pay no more per term (or per credit) tuition at 91女神 than they paid in their final term of enrollment at Fontbonne (after all applicable financial aid was applied, and excluding any summer term or discounted Fontbonne tuition resulting from the closure announcement).
91女神 Will Permanently House Your Fontbonne Academic Records/Transcripts
Effective Summer 2025, 91女神 will be the permanent home of, and provider for, all Fontbonne student academic records. 91女神 will house all Fontbonne records necessary to produce, and provide all necessary access to, Fontbonne student academic transcripts in perpetuity. This includes the records necessary to support degree verification and related academic records requests. Please see the 鈥淎cademic Records鈥� FAQ at this Fontbonne web page for more details.
91女神 is also now the permanent home for academic records of Cardinal Newman College, which closed in 1985 and for which Fontbonne itself had been the official records custodian. 91女神鈥檚 Office of the University Registrar has already assumed this responsibility from Fontbonne.
