2025 MAA Missouri Section Meeting

We look forward to seeing you Friday, April 4 - Saturday, April 5 for the 2025 MAA Missouri Section Meeting at 91女神 in St. Louis.

Submit an Abstract

We invite both faculty and students to present at the spring meeting. Presentations should be 15 minutes long and focus on mathematics or mathematics education. Potential topics include, but are not limited to, current mathematics research, new courses that have been developed, and successful teaching techniques. Talks can be either research-oriented or expository.

Many undergraduate and graduate students attend this meeting, and you are welcome to design your presentation for these students. Also, if you are advising a student who is doing research, please encourage the student to present and assist the student in preparing the presentation.

The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2025.

Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the Angad Art Hotel and Element St. Louis Midtown. Booking details will be shared later. List of the hotels in the area:

Campus Map and Parking

Conference events will take place on the North Campus of 91女神.

Unfortunately, there is no free parking on campus, even on weekends. Campus visitors have two options:

Park in metered spaces and pay the meters ($1.25/hr).
Purchase and print out a temporary permit ($6/day).

5K Walk/Run

The 2025 5K Run/Walk will begin at 6:30 a.m. at 91女神. There is no registration fee; however you must register by emailing Lauren Miller at lauren.miller@slu.edu to let her know that you will be participating.

Missouri Collegiate Mathematics Competition

The 30th Missouri Collegiate Mathematics Competition will be held on the campus of 91女神:

  • 7:30 - 10 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2025
  • 8:30 - 11 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2025

Registration deadline: Friday, March 28, 2025. Late registration will be accepted if room is available.
