The University Counseling Center at 91女神 offers regular support group meetings, community events, and educational opportunities.

The Healing Collective

Support group sessions for coping with racial, political and social tensions, led by 91女神's UCC Director Knieba Jones-Johnson, LMFT.

This group will meet on the following dates:

  • 5-6:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 23 
  • 5-6:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 21 
  • 5-6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 4

No Shame in Our Game Men's Support Group

Topics covered include:

  • Emotional well-being
  • Family lessons
  • Consent
  • Social relationships

This group will meet 7-8:30 p.m., on Tuesdays from Sept. 2 through Dec. 3 in the Griesedieck Complex Blue Room.

Dinner with Friends You Haven't Met Yet

These events are hosted by the University Counseling Center. Limited spots are available; RSVP is required. Dinners will take place on the following dates:

  • Sept. 19
  • Oct. 17
  • Nov. 4

Get Outside - Guided Nature Walk on Campus

  • 9 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 3
  • 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8 

All are welcome on this 45-minute guided walk! Meet in front of the Busch Student Center on Grand Boulevard (on the bookstore side). Dress for the weather and bring hydration. For more information, contact Lupe at guadalupe.murillowink@health.slu.edu.

Sober@91女神

Hosted by the Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC). This is a safe and welcoming support network for recovering students and their allies to make positive changes regarding their substance abuse.

In this group, students will:

  • Get help with their substance use challenges
  • Achieve academic, personal, and professional goals
  • Gain support in managing their recovery

This group meets 5-6 p.m., each Tuesday in Wuller Hall, Room 231.

Black Girls Club

Monthly support group for Black women to explore challenges and shared life experiences in a safe and supportive space. 

This group will meet on the following dates:

  • 6 p.m., Sept. 3, in Wuller Hall, Room 231
  • 6 p.m., Oct. 8, in Wuller Hall, Room 231
