Summer Conferences

Throughout the summer, departments and units at 91女神 host conferences and research programs for students, faculty, staff and other members of the 91女神 community.

Undergraduate Research in Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at 91女神 will host the undergraduate summer research program from June 3 - August 2, 2024, on 91女神's campus in St. Louis. Undergraduate researchers in this program will work in active research groups directed by faculty members in the Department of Chemistry.

Potential research projects in all subdisciplines of chemistry are available to participants. Applicants must identify three chemistry faculty members whose research is of the most interest to the applicant in their application. Applicants selected for the program will be offered several projects to choose from.

Participants will receive a $5,000 stipend.

Applicants must fill out the online application form (link below). In addition to the application form, applicants are asked to email their unofficial transcript and one letter of reference to the director at ryan.mcculla@slu.edu.

Applications are reviewed frequently until the available openings are filled. Those received by March 15, 2024, are assured of full consideration.

Students in closely related fields may be considered; however, these students are encouraged to contact the program director before applying.
