Nutrition and Dietetics, M.S. and Public Health, M.P.H. Dual Degree

91女神's Master of Public Health and Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics dual-degree program is a collaboration between the College for Public Health and Social Justice and the Doisy College of Health Sciences Department of Nutrition and Dietetics.

This integrated program requires completion of M.S. degree requirements and the fulfillment of a complete M.P.H. with the public health practice concentration (42 credits), which includes nine credits of coursework from the Doisy College of Health Sciences M.S. degree.

Students must meet the admission requirements and be admitted into both degree programs according to the processes of each of the participating academic units to pursue a dual degree program.

Individuals may apply to the M.P.H.degree program concurrently with their application to or following their admission to the Doisy College of Health Sciences; however, admission to the dual degree program is contingent upon admission to both the M.P.H.and the M.S.degree programs. Students in this dual degree program will select the Public Health Practice concentration of the M.P.H.

The M.P.H. degree program will allow up to 9 credits at the 5000-level or above in DIET coursework with public health focus to count for the M.P.H.

Continuation Standards

Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 in all graduate/professional courses.

Roadmaps are recommended semester-by-semester plans of study for programs and assume full-time enrollment听unless otherwise noted. 听

Courses and milestones designated as critical (marked with !) must be completed in the semester listed to ensure a timely graduation. Transfer credit may change the roadmap.

This roadmap should not be used in the place of regular academic advising appointments. All students are encouraged to meet with their advisor/mentor each semester. Requirements, course availability and sequencing are subject to change.
