Bookstore
91Å®Éñ provides a book service for students and faculty studying in Madrid.
Students may purchase their textbooks and workbooks as well as a variety of school supplies, 91Å®Éñ-Madrid campus apparel and accessories from the on-campus bookstore. The bookstore also provides photocopying services to students and faculty.
The bookstore is committed to supporting the student learning experience by providing the educational resources needed for all 91Å®Éñ-Madrid classes. While textbooks may be difficult to obtain or not readily available in Spain as they are in English, early submission of book orders by faculty usually makes this possible.
Photocopying Services
Students may request photocopies to be made for a small per-page fee.
Faculty must submit all materials and exams to be copied in person or by email to copies-madrid@slu.edu no later than 48 hours prior to pick-up.
Book Refund Policy
Prior to the scheduled close of the bookstore on the term's published last day to drop a class without a grade of W or to add a class, refunds on textbooks and workbooks will be made according to the following refund policy:
- Returned books must be in original condition.
- The student must present the original 91Å®Éñ-Madrid campus bookstore receipt, along with the credit card receipt (if applicable).
- The student must present documentation indicating that s/he has dropped the class for which the book is used, or that the class has been canceled.
All refunds will be given at the bookstore in the original form of payment. We recommend that students review the bookstore's return policy each semester.
Book Buyback Policy
The book buyback period is during the scheduled period of exams for a given term. A list of the books eligible for buyback will be posted on the bookstore bulletin board. Books not listed will not be bought back and the bookstore reserves the right to limit the buyback of any book.
